A Helium Nano droplets Isolation Spectrometer for High-Resolution Infrared Spectroscopy

Fourvac Technologies, proudly contributed to the development of the HeNDI-IITK spectrometer at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur by manufacturing the complete ultra-high vacuum chamber system for the project.

HeNDI-IITK is India’s first helium nanodroplet isolation spectrometer and one of only a few such systems worldwide. The spectrometer enables the formation and isolation of molecular clusters inside superfluid helium droplets, allowing researchers to study chemical reactions and molecular structures at ultracold temperatures using mass spectrometry and infrared spectroscopy techniques. The complete system comprises six differentially pumped vacuum chambers, all manufactured by Fourvac Technologies and acknowledged in the published research paper.
